Sleeping Arlene

 


Let me introduce myself first.

I am Arlene not my real name, 21 years old from bicol Philippines. I'm the one who loves to sleep a lot, almost after I eat lunch I can sleep straight in our living room, because I'm a sleepy person. so here it is, it is natural for me to experience sleep paralysis, the one you almost do not want to sleep because of fear, but one night while I was sleeping soundly I suddenly woke up due to the shaking of the bed, awakening my eyes mama is not in beside me, because I was just a childmama that I was always always next to sleeping, I thought at first it was an earthquake so I was just calm even though I was very scared of people. while the bed was shaking, I suddenly looked at the things lying on top of the closet, I just didn't realize that the earthquake was not the reason for our bed shaking. I was so scared at those times because I knew something was wrong. after a few minutes page by page he shook until he disappeared. So this is really my main story, just a taste of who or what is really with us at home. I got sick non, because you have dengue more and more, so we went back to the hospital, he stayed with me for almost 1 week, we celebrated my birthday that I just lay down and couldn't eat properly. about 10 o'clock that night when I was sleeping soundly, my mom was watching jeepney tv, its showtime was the show (replay). I'm sleeping non, but I'm not sure. I feel like my soul has separated from my body while sleeping. because it all started with sleep paralysis, I could not move, I could not scream, the type you tried to open your eyes but it was as if someone was pulling you to sleep again. so as I know my mind was awake at that time, I was forced to open my eyes until I could see the one attached to our wall that I was drawing when I was in high school, I was having a hard time then, because when I had sleep paralysis, I can wake up right away, but it's too muchstrange.

eccentricI was just relieved when I tried to open my eyes and I finally woke up. I was out of breath because I was tired, I still had a fever because I was fine because of dengue. So I got up, I went to the living room to tell my mother what I experienced. While I was at the door of the room I called my mom, "ma, ma, maaaaaaaaaa" I called mama a few times but she didn't move, she was very busy watching her showtime then because it was a sign of what she was watching then. I wondered at those times, "what is mama's problem?"That was what I thought before so I tried to call him "maaaa" again but I was still disappointed, I kicked myself but I was okay, until I thought of going back to lying down but I was always shocked when my body was lying on the bed. I was so scared, I ran closer to the bed, I immediately lay down on my sleeping body, I concentrated, because I don't want to stay like that, the one your loved one doesn't notice because it's just your soul. so how many times did I try to open my eyes but I also failed a few times. I was very tired during those hours, it just kept coming back but nothing happened. until I was about to fall asleep in my dream but I suddenly woke up, my eyes suddenly opened even though I didn't want to wake up because I was tired. At times I just asked myself if this is true? so I quickly got up and went to mama, I saw her watching its showtime like I saw while my earthly body was asleep. I was very grateful at that time because I woke up, but that's where it all started, since I told my mother what happened, I found out something that I wish I hadn't known, ....
